Tom Lee's MAVAN: The Institutional Staking Juggernaut Chugging ETH Like a DeFi Whale

Bitmine, the undisputed Ethereum treasury whale of the planet, just unleashed MAVAN – its own in-house, institutional-grade staking behemoth. Even while ETH prices were doing their best impression of a rug pull, Bitmine kept its diamond hands busy buying the dip, announcing last week it had already locked up a cool 101,776 ETH into MAVAN's maw. The firm has declared that every last idle ETH in its coffers is destined for the same fate, soon to be staked on this new platform.

MAVAN is engineered for the institutional heavyweights, with a three-point stance built on security, performance, and resilience – think of it as the crypto equivalent of a bank vault crossed with a Formula 1 car. It began life as a private solution for Bitmine's own massive treasury, but the roadmap now explicitly targets other institutional investors, custodians, and ecosystem partners in desperate need of top-tier staking infrastructure that doesn't run on hopium.

Chairman Tom Lee is radiating bullish energy, claiming MAVAN is on a path to become the world's largest Ethereum staking platform and will soon start branching out into other proof-of-stake networks and broader blockchain infrastructure. “MAVAN represents a critical step in our vision to build one of the leading staking and on‑chain infrastructure platforms on a global scale,” Lee stated, presumably while staring at a chart going straight up and to the right.

Given that Bitmine already holds more ETH than any other single entity on Earth, MAVAN is practically guaranteed to snatch the number-one staking spot faster than a sniper bot grabs a new token launch. The company has also teased a future of expansive menu options: additional PoS chains, on-chain vaults, post-quantum client development, and more, all penciled in by 2026.

As of the snapshot on March 24, 2026, Bitmine had a staggering 3,142,643 ETH actively staked – roughly $6.8 billion at a price of $2,148 per ETH – cementing its status as the planet's ultimate ETH staker. *This is not financial advice, but if it were, it would probably just be a chart of their ETH balance.
