SOL's Bear Flag Folds: From $93 "Nope" to a $57 "Maybe"? Degens Watching Closely.

By our Markets Desk2 min read

After getting a firm "not today, sir" at the $93 level, Solana (SOL) promptly lost its $90 support and slid down to $88. Currently trading around $88.2—a 4.5% dip—it's flashing that classic "are we cooked?" signal to the market.

The chart-watchers are all pointing at a bearish flag pattern that's reappearing like a bad sequel. The last time this cinematic masterpiece played out, SOL took a 56% nosedive to $67. The analysts' new plot twist? A full breakout could see the price heading for a starring role in the $40-$45 range.

Over in derivatives land, the mood has shifted from "greed" to "please." CoinGlass data shows futures outflows hitting $2.13 billion while inflows shrunk to $2.02 billion, flipping netflow negative by $103 million—a dramatic 547% swing. Open interest dipped 2% to $5 billion, and liquidations hit $8 million, with longs providing a generous $6 million donation to the liquidation pool.

History suggests this kind of sentiment is the crypto-equivalent of hearing the theme from Jaws—it often precedes a slowdown and a sharp price drop if it sticks around. The Future Grand Trend indicator is now projecting a potential slide to $75, with $57 as its "worst-case scenario" setting. The ADX/DMI is also inching toward a bearish crossover, which would be the technical confirmation that the trend is, indeed, getting weaker.

While the futures crowd is heading for the exits, the spot ETF gang is just chilling. Data from Sosovalue shows SOL spot ETFs avoided net outflows recently and even posted a $4.5 million net inflow in one session. However, the overall spot netflow did turn negative to $35.5 million—the lowest in nearly two months—suggesting some traders are quietly playing the "buy the fear" game.

If spot demand, particularly from the ETF corner, decides to hold the line, the altcoin might find a temporary home around $85 before mustering the courage for another run at that pesky $93 ceiling.
