Machi Big Brother Pumps Another $500K Into ETH While Down $30.8M: Bullish or Bonkus?

By our Markets Desk2 min read

Machi Big Brother is not letting a $30.8M loss stop him. The notorious trader just deposited another $500,000 in USDC to Hyperliquid, reinforcing his $ETH long position as the market continues its downward spiral. Because nothing says "I've learned my lesson" like throwing more fuel on the fire.

Not content with just doubling down on ETH, Machi also opened fresh longs on $BTC and $HYPE. Because when you're down $30M, what's another half-million among friends? At this point, he's either the most committed bull in existence or he's writing a very expensive case study in "how to make LBGT history."

His current portfolio looks like this:

  • 3,300 $ETH worth $6.76M
  • 8 $BTC worth $544K
  • 9,888.88 $HYPE worth $383K

The total portfolio sits at $577,009.47 with zero withdrawable funds. That's some committed diamond hands right there. This man has so much conviction he's basically holding his ETH with a death grip while crying into his chart candles.

His leverage sits at 13.32% with margin usage at 55.87%. The ETH position specifically is underwater by $43,048.92, opened at $2,061.44 and now trading around $2,048.40. Liquidation price? A cozy $1,919.82. So he's got about 130 bucks between him and a very bad day. That's basically trading on vibes at this point.

According to Arkham Intelligence, Machi's cumulative unrealized PnL now exceeds $30.8M. But hey, 100% long exposure across ETH,
