mUSD Madness: Santiment Data Reveals What Ethereum Developers Are Actually Building

Santiment just dropped some developer activity data for the Ethereum ecosystem over the past 30 days, and honestly? The numbers are doing things that would make a degen's heart skip a beat. Or maybe that's just the gas fees.

Stablecoins, infrastructure, and Layer-2 solutions dominated the rankings like they own the place—which, let's be honest, they basically do. Privacy and scalability projects showed up strong too, because apparently building things that actually work and don't leak your financial history is still trendy. Who knew?

MetaMask USD (mUSD) absolutely annihilated the competition with a score of 884.07, which is basically "we're not even in the same galaxy" territory. Chainlink limped in at a mere 245.33, desperately trying to pretend that's still impressive. Aztec came third at 174.27, Starknet ($STRK) grabbed fourth with 145.2, and ETH itself—yes, the entire blockchain—rounded out top five at a humble 120.97. The king is dead, long live the stablecoin.

The rest of the squad: Worldcoin (103.27) is out here scanning eyeballs, Decentraland (87.57) keeps existing somehow, Zama (61.97) is doing privacy things, Status (57.23) is still around apparently, and Lido DAO Token (50.1) is quietly staking everything while no one watches.

Plot twist worth noting: $STRK took a nosedive from third place last month while $AZTEC climbed up to snag that bronze medal. This is crypto though, so by next month they'll probably flip again. Positions are basically suggestions here.

There you have it—exactly what the builders are actually building while the rest of us argue about JPEG prices on Twitter.
