ADA's Date with Destiny: $0.245 or the Highway

Cardano is hanging by a thread at $0.245, and the crypto crowd is watching closely. At the time of writing, ADA was down 0.76% in the last 24 hours as the broader market snoozed through the weekend. Because nothing says "exciting Monday" like watching paint dry and Cardano chart watch simultaneously.

That $0.245 level? It's the line in the sand. Ali Charts flagged it as the key short-term support to watch, based on ADA's four-hour chart. This marks the fourth day of ADA's slide from its March 26 high of $0.276, totaling a 6% weekly drop. Ouch. Four days of red candles is basically a participation trophy for bagholders at this point.

Cardano tried to punch above the daily MA 50 at $0.268 twice in March. Both attempts died in spectacular fashion, with ADA retreating back below. The daily MA 50 has been ADA's ceiling since late September 2025, and so far, no sustained breakout in sight. It's like watching someone repeatedly try to bench press more than they can handle—admirable persistence, questionable results.

For now, all eyes are on how ADA behaves around $0.245. Hold it, and maybe there's a bounce. Lose it, and things could get spicy. We're talking potential "I told my wife I was investing in the future" levels of of regret territory here.

On the tech side, the van Rossem hard fork is inching forward. Cardano node 10.7.0-pre-release dropped during the week, ready for hands-on testing. The update brings UTxO-HD (on-disk storage), Kes Agent, and Cardano-rpc to the table. Intersect says a full network resync might be needed due to storage changes. Final benchmarking is ongoing, and once that's done, 10.7.0 graduates to full release status. Minor releases may follow, but they'll be limited in scope. Nothing says "we're serious about scalability" like forcing everyone to resync their nodes during a price crash. Peak timing, as always.
