Coinbase Just Dropped Three Altcoins Like It's NFT Season

In what will surely go down as the most surprising thing to happen to CHECK, $SIGN, and MEZO since they were minted, Coinbase has decided to grace its spot trading platform with three fresh faces. These tokens are probably already changing their LinkedIn profiles to "Listed on Coinbase (Verified)."

Trading for CHECK and $SIGN begins April 2nd, provided liquidity doesn't pull a disappearing act worthy of a magic show. Because nothing screams "we're totally confident in this launch" like a disclaimer about market conditions being acceptable. Bold of them to assume any of us read the fine print anyway.

MEZO, clearly the mysterious third wheel of this announcement, also gets a spot on the Coinbase menu—but without the courtesy of a start date. Imagine being invited to an exclusive club and told the address is "somewhere in the city, figure it out." Cold, but on brand.

As always, new listings bring the kind of volatility that makes traders either rich or converts to more stable careers. Market depth on these fresh listings will likely be thinner than a degen's patience when a trade goes green. But hey, that's the premium experience you're paying for—emotional damage included.

Not financial advice, obviously. If it were, we wouldn't be writing this for free.
