Bitcoin Hits Snooze: BTC Flatlines at 0% While NEAR and AVAX Party Like It's 2021

The CoinDesk 20 is showing some pulse today, folks. Not exactly a heartbeat you'd call "exciting," but at least it's not flatlining in a hospital bed.

Currently hovering at 1909.43, the index has mustered a whole 0.7% gain (+12.64) since 4 p.m. ET on Thursday. Nineteen out of twenty assets are wearing green like it's St. Paddy's Day. Apparently, even in crypto, showing up is half the battle.

Leading the charge like caffeinated degens on a Saturday night: NEAR Protocol (+5.8%) and Avalanche (+3.6%). These two are out here making moves while the rest of the market sips water and stretches.

Meanwhile, your boomer crypto assets BTC and XLM are both sitting pretty at 0.0%, essentially the crypto equivalent of watching paint dry. We're talking full retirement-home energy here, folks. Someone check if BTC needs a blanket.
