Why Let Humans Have All the Fun? Ant Group Unveils Anvita for AI-to-AI Crypto Trading

Ant Digital Technologies, the blockchain arm of Ant Group (yes, that Ant Group), has dropped Anvita — a platform where AI agents, not carbon-based life forms like us, become the primary degens of crypto transactions. Move over, retail investors. The robots are finally here to ape in.

Unveiled at the Real Up summit in Cannes (fancy), Anvita is Ant's bet on what it calls an "agent-to-agent economy," where autonomous software programs can hold assets, trade, and make payments while humans scroll Twitter and argue about whether the market is bullish or just having a stroke.

The platform serves up two main products. First, Anvita TaaS (Tokenization-as-a-Service) handles real-world asset tokenization for institutions, complete with custody and treasury tools — because apparently, AI needs to stash its savings somewhere too. Second, Anvita Flow lets AI agents register, find each other, coordinate tasks and settle payments in real time. It's like LinkedIn for bots, but with actual money involved.

"Pure RWA is just the 'static infrastructure' of digital assets," said Zhuoqun Bian, president of blockchain business at Ant Digital Technologies. "The real transformation lies in moving toward an onchain agentic economy, where autonomous agents will not just analyze data — they will hold assets, execute trades, and optimize portfolios." In other words: why let humans fomo in when algorithms can do it faster and without the emotional damage?

Anvita Flow integrates the x402 protocol, developed by Coinbase and Cloudflare, enabling stablecoin payments directly over HTTP. Agents can complete sub-cent transactions instantly using USDC, bypassing traditional billing systems, subscriptions or human approval. The system also includes an Agent Store with modules for data collection, financial analysis and gaming, supporting frameworks like OpenClaw and Claude Code. Yes, there's now an app store for AI trading bots. The singularity just got a freemium tier.
