GitHub Goblins Are All In: Santiment Data Reveals Where DeFi Devs Are Actually Grinding

By our DeFi Desk1 min read

Santiment just dropped some fresh GitHub tea, and the data tells quite a story. The analytics crew looked at the last 30 days of developer activity across the DeFi space, and a few protocols are absolutely eating.

Infrastructure, liquidity, and staking projects are where the coders are hanging out these days. Chainlink continues to flex its oracle muscles at the top with 210.1 developer interactions. DeepBook Protocol, the Sui ecosystem's liquidity darling, slid into second at 115.27.

The usual suspects maintained their grip on the rankings. Lido DAO (43.5), Aave (33.17), and Injective (31.7) aren't going anywhere. Euler (25.6) showed up and showed out with increased activity.

Uniswap? Slight dip. Meanwhile, Curve is doing Curve things on both Ethereum and Arbitrum, pulling identical numbers of 21.73 on both chains. Babylon (18.8) rounded out the top 10.

Here's the full breakdown:

  1. Chainlink (LINK) – 210.1
  2. DeepBook Protocol (DEEP) – 115.27
  3. Lido DAO (LDO) – 43.5
  4. Aave (AAVE) – 33.17
  5. Injective (INJ) – 31.7
  6. Euler (EUL) – 25.6
  7. Uniswap (UNI) – 22.37
  8. Curve ($CRV – Ethereum) – 21.73
  9. Curve ($CRV – Arbitrum) – 21.73
  10. Babylon (BABY) – 18.8
