Bessent Tells Congress: Your CLARITY Act Timeout is Expired

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has officially run out of patience. He's giving Congress the cosmic nudge—or perhaps a gentle shove—to get moving on that crypto market structure bill before the window slams shut like a trap door in a degen's dreams.

Bessent is ringing the alarm bells louder than a whale dumping on a small-cap altcoin: the clock is ticking down on any hope of bringing some much-needed regulatory clarity to the crypto wild west. The industry has been wandering in the regulatory desert for years, and apparently, Congress thought it was funny to keep us waiting.

The CLARITY Act is currently stuck in Senate purgatory, trapped in an epic showdown between old-school banking titans and crypto leaders who can't seem to see eye to eye. It's basically the financial equivalent of two cats hissing at each other over the same tuna can, except the tuna can is worth trillions and everyone's very, very upset.

The message from Treasury? Pass the bill. Now. Not next quarter. Not when you're good and ready. Now.
