XRP Peeks Above $1.35, Bullish Momentum Hits Snooze

By our Markets Desk2 min read

XRP nudged its way back above $1.35 after a punchy high-volume sprint from $1.33, cleanly sneaking past $1.34. But before you start drafting the victory tweets — the follow-through has been about as exciting as watching paint dry in a bull market.

The breakout came with actual volume behind it, which is refreshing in a space usually held together by vibes and hopium. But here's the kicker: there's zero fundamental fuel in the tank. XRP ETF inflows limped in at a meager $3.32 million — basically pocket change for a token this尺寸. No shiny catalyst to rally around, no institutional whales diving in. Just chart patterns and technical traders doing the heavy lifting while the rest of us scroll Twitter waiting for something to happen.

Right now, all eyes are glued to $1.34 like it's the last slice of pizza. Stay above it and the short-term bounce has a pulse. Punch through $1.36-$1.40 and we might actually see some green candles with momentum behind them. But if XRP trips and falls back below $1.31-$1.32? That's the breakout dying on the vine and the bears flexing again.

The bigger picture is still looking pretty bleak. Every rally keeps hitting a ceiling around $1.40 and bouncing off like it's got a personal vendetta. Some indicators are screaming exhaustion rather than strength — classic fakeout energy. Buyers are making a half-hearted attempt to build a floor near these levels, but "attempting" and "actually succeeding" are two very different sports in this market.

The TL;DR: XRP had its moment in the sun. Whether it's the start of an actual run or just another rug-pull in slow motion, the next few sessions will spill the tea.
