Grayscale's 2026 Altcoin Shopping List: 30 Projects Get the 'Maybe' Stamp

Grayscale just dropped its Q2 2026 "assets under evaluation" list, and 30 altcoins are officially on the radar. CC, CELO, MNT, MegaETH, MON, TRX, ENA, HYPE, JUP, KMNO, SYRUP, MORPHO, PENDLE, ROBO, FLOCK, GRASS, KAITO, KITE, Nous Research, Poseidon, VVV, VIRTUAL, WLD, 2Z, GEOD, HNT, JTO, ZRO, and W have all made the cut—for now.

The firm clarified these assets aren't in any current products, but they're potential candidates for future offerings. Translation: Grayscale is basically sliding into these projects' DMs, but hasn't committed to anything yet. It's the crypto equivalent of "you're interesting, let me think about it" while actually just updating a spreadsheet.

The list follows Grayscale's "Crypto Sectors" classification framework, aiming to organize the digital asset landscape for investors in a more systematic way. Basically, they're trying to make sense of the chaos so institutional money doesn't have to. Someone at Grayscale really sat down and said "let's put all the degens in nice little boxes."

As always, inclusion isn't guaranteed. Grayscale plans to refresh the list roughly 15 days after each quarter, so these projects can enjoy their time in the spotlight—or start cooling their jets. Congratulations to the 30 coins on the list: you've been noticed by the ETF giant. Don't spend it all in one place. Or do. Grayscale might forget you exist in 90 days anyway.
