Tezos Goes Full Franchise Mode, Opens New Hubs in Dubai and Singapore

While other blockchain ecosystems are tightening their belts and wondering if they left the stove on, Tezos is doing the opposite—expanding its global footprint with two new regional entities. Meet Tezos Middle East (headquartered in the Dubai International Financial Centre) and Tezos Southeast Asia (based in Singapore). Coordinating all this geographic growth? The newly minted Tezos Patronage Association, a Swiss-based organization tasked with keeping everyone aligned while still letting them move fast. Think of it as a DAO's older, more responsible cousin who actually shows up to meetings.

"A more distributed model gives different organizations the autonomy to move quickly, develop domain expertise, and respond to opportunities as they arise," said Tezos co-founder Arthur Breitman. "That makes the broader Tezos effort more dynamic, adaptable, and positioned for long-term growth." In other words, Tezos is playing 4D chess while others are still figuring out how the knight moves.

Local Teams, Global Ambitions

Each entity will focus on regional ecosystem development, zeroing in on gaming, DeFi, capital markets, and art. The goal: engage local builders, incubate projects, and strengthen regional communities. Think of it as Tezos going franchise—but instead of mediocre pizza, they're dishing out blockchain infrastructure. The Middle East hub will presumably handle the desert-themed Twitter announcements, while Singapore takes point on the efficient, punctual community engagement.
