XRP's Blue Band Hangout: Final Opportunity or Just Another Stop Before $0.78?

By our Markets Desk2 min read

XRP is sitting at a potentially pivotal moment, and Chart Nerd thinks this could be your last shot before the next big move.

The token has been bleeding out since Q4 2025, down a solid 53% and currently clinging to around $1.34. But here's where it gets interesting—XRP is loitering near the Gaussian Channel's blue regression band, which is chilling at roughly $1.30.

According to the analyst, this blue line has been a recurring launchpad. After each major peak—2013, 2017, and 2021—XRP eventually bounced off this exact level before rallying. The pattern's consistency is pretty hard to ignore.

Here's the math: past bounces delivered 110%, then 80%, then 63%. The next logical step? Roughly 40%. That would push XRP somewhere between $1.8 and $2, which sounds nice on paper.

There's a catch, though. History shows that after these bounce-and-rally parties, XRP typically heads back down to the red regression band—currently hanging around $0.78. So this could be less of a fresh start and more of a "last gasp before the final bottom."

Chart Nerd originally expected the rally in March with a pullback in April, but XRP has been grinding sideways instead. Still, he's holding onto the possibility of that $1.8-$2 target in the coming months.

External pressure isn't helping either. Global uncertainty, including the US-Iran situation, is keeping market vibes unstable. Indicators like the super trend and RSI are also backing this cautious outlook.

So, is this XRP's final opportunity or just a scenic stopover on the way to $0.78? You decide.
