The World project, founded by OpenAI's Sam Altman, has drawn criticism since its inception. Its use of iris data for identity verification has prompted bans and investigations across multiple countries. Still, $WLD managed to climb to $11 during the 2024 AI rally before sliding back to as low as $0.20.

$WLD is up roughly 20% in the last 24 hours and more than 100% over the past month, trading around $0.50 at the time of writing. *This is not investment advice.
